प्राणानादौ याच्यमानः कुतोऽन्यदेतद्विद्वन्साधनार्थं ब्रवीमि ।
एतद्राज्ञो भीष्मपुरोगमस्य मतं यद्वः शान्तिरिहोत्तमा स्यात् ॥१५॥

15.
O learned one, when lives are being begged for at the outset, why should I speak of anything else? I am saying this for the sake of a solution. This is the opinion of the king, with Bhīṣma as his foremost guide, that supreme peace should be yours here.
