महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-14, verse-5

शल्य उवाच ।
ततस्तां प्रस्थितां देवीमिन्द्राणी सा समन्वगात् ।
देवारण्यान्यतिक्रम्य पर्वतांश्च बहूंस्ततः ।
हिमवन्तमतिक्रम्य उत्तरं पार्श्वमागमत् ॥५॥
5. śalya uvāca ,
tatastāṁ prasthitāṁ devīmindrāṇī sā samanvagāt ,
devāraṇyānyatikramya parvatāṁśca bahūṁstataḥ ,
himavantamatikramya uttaraṁ pārśvamāgamat.
5. śalyaḥ uvāca tataḥ tām prasthitām devīm
indrāṇī sā samanvagāt devāraṇyāni
atikramya parvatān ca bahūn tataḥ
himavantam atikramya uttaram pārśvam āgamat
5. Śalya narrated, "Then Indrāṇī followed that goddess who had departed. From there, having crossed divine forests and many mountains, and having traversed the Himalayas (Himavat), she reached the northern region."
