यदि न त्रास्यसि विभो करिष्यति स मां वशे ।
एतेन चाहं संतप्ता प्राप्ता शक्र तवान्तिकम् ।
जहि रौद्रं महाबाहो नहुषं पापनिश्चयम् ॥१४॥

14. yadi na trāsyasi vibho kariṣyati sa māṁ vaśe ,

jahi raudraṁ mahābāho nahuṣaṁ pāpaniścayam.

14.
If you do not protect me, O all-pervading lord, he will subjugate me. Distressed by this, O Śakra, I have come to your presence. O mighty-armed one, slay the fierce Nahuṣa, who is determined to commit evil (pāpa).
