पतिव्रतासि युक्ता च यमेन नियमेन च ।
दर्शयिष्यामि ते शक्रं देवं वृत्रनिषूदनम् ।
क्षिप्रमन्वेहि भद्रं ते द्रक्ष्यसे सुरसत्तमम् ॥४॥

4. pativratāsi yuktā ca yamena niyamena ca ,
darśayiṣyāmi te śakraṁ devaṁ vṛtraniṣūdanam ,
kṣipramanvehi bhadraṁ te drakṣyase surasattamam.

4. pativratā asi yuktā ca yamena
niyamena ca darśayiṣyāmi te śakram
devam vṛtraniṣūdanam kṣipram anvehi
bhadram te drakṣyase surasattamam

4. "You are a devoted wife (pativratā), endowed with discipline (niyama) and self-control (yama). I will show you Śakra, the god who slew Vṛtra. Follow me quickly; may good fortune be yours. You will see the best of the gods."
