वैशंपायन उवाच ।

Vaiśampāyana said: When that son of Dhṛtarāṣṭra (Duryodhana), the tormentor of foes, was speaking those words, Bhīṣma, Droṇa, Kṛpa, and Droṇi (Aśvatthāmā) praised his valor.
