महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-37, verse-16

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
तस्मिन्ब्रुवति तद्वाक्यं धार्तराष्ट्रे परंतपे ।
भीष्मो द्रोणः कृपो द्रौणिः पौरुषं तदपूजयन् ॥१६॥
16. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
tasminbruvati tadvākyaṁ dhārtarāṣṭre paraṁtape ,
bhīṣmo droṇaḥ kṛpo drauṇiḥ pauruṣaṁ tadapūjayan.
16. vaiśampāyanaḥ uvāca tasmin bruvati tat vākyam dhārtarāṣṭre
parantape bhīṣmaḥ droṇaḥ kṛpaḥ drauṇiḥ pauruṣam tat apūjayan
16. Vaiśampāyana said: When that son of Dhṛtarāṣṭra (Duryodhana), the tormentor of foes, was speaking those words, Bhīṣma, Droṇa, Kṛpa, and Droṇi (Aśvatthāmā) praised his valor.
