महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-37, verse-12

नेहास्य प्रतियोद्धारमहं पश्यामि कौरवाः ।
महादेवोऽपि पार्थेन श्रूयते युधि तोषितः ॥१२॥

12. O Kauravas, I do not see anyone who can contend with him here. It is said that even Mahadeva was propitiated by Partha in battle.
