महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-283, verse-9

ततोऽभिवाद्य तान्वृद्धान्द्विजानाश्रमवासिनः ।
तैश्चाभिपूजितः सर्वैः प्रययौ नगरं प्रति ॥९॥
9. tato'bhivādya tānvṛddhāndvijānāśramavāsinaḥ ,
taiścābhipūjitaḥ sarvaiḥ prayayau nagaraṁ prati.

taiḥ ca abhipūjitaḥ sarvaiḥ prayayau nagaram prati
9. Then, having saluted those elderly twice-born (dvija) dwellers of the hermitage (āśrama), and being honored by all of them, he proceeded towards the city.
