महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-258, verse-13

पितरं स समुत्सृज्य पितामहमुपस्थितः ।
तस्य कोपात्पिता राजन्ससर्जात्मानमात्मना ॥१३॥
13. pitaraṁ sa samutsṛjya pitāmahamupasthitaḥ ,
tasya kopātpitā rājansasarjātmānamātmanā.

tasya kopāt pitā rājan sasārja ātmānam ātmanā
13. He (Vaiśravaṇa) abandoned his father (Viśravas) and approached his grandfather (Pulastya). From his (Vaiśravaṇa's) action, O King, his father (Viśravas) created himself (ātman) by his own self (ātman).
