महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-151, verse-10

तच्च क्रोधवशा नाम राक्षसा राजशासनात् ।
रक्षन्ति शतसाहस्राश्चित्रायुधपरिच्छदाः ॥१०॥
10. tacca krodhavaśā nāma rākṣasā rājaśāsanāt ,
rakṣanti śatasāhasrāścitrāyudhaparicchadāḥ.
10. tat ca krodhavaśā nāma rākṣasāḥ rājaśāsanāt
rakṣanti śatasāhasrāḥ citrāyudhapracchadāḥ
10. And that (lake) is protected by the Rākṣasas known as Krodhavaśā—a hundred thousand of them, equipped with various weapons—acting under royal command.
