महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-151, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
स गत्वा नलिनीं रम्यां राक्षसैरभिरक्षिताम् ।
कैलासशिखरे रम्ये ददर्श शुभकानने ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
sa gatvā nalinīṁ ramyāṁ rākṣasairabhirakṣitām ,
kailāsaśikhare ramye dadarśa śubhakānane.

1. Vaiśampāyana said: Having reached a beautiful lotus pond, which was guarded by rākṣasas, he saw it situated on the charming peak of Mount Kailasa, within an auspicious forest.
