महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-65, verse-11

मातरं चैव गान्धारीं मां च त्वद्गुणकाङ्क्षिणम् ।
उपस्थितं वृद्धमन्धं पितरं पश्य भारत ॥११॥
11. mātaraṁ caiva gāndhārīṁ māṁ ca tvadguṇakāṅkṣiṇam ,
upasthitaṁ vṛddhamandhaṁ pitaraṁ paśya bhārata.
11. mātaram ca eva gāndhārīm mām ca tvadguṇakāṅkṣiṇam
upasthitam vṛddham andham pitaram paśya bhārata
11. O Bhārata, behold your mother Gandhari, and me, your aged, blind father, who stands here desiring your virtues.
