महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-15, verse-12

संयुक्तो हि बलैः कश्चित्प्रमादान्नोपयुज्यते ।

12. Indeed, if someone, though equipped with forces, is not utilized due to negligence, then through that very weakness, a powerful foe (referring to the negligent person who becomes a liability) is destroyed for the benefit of the (actual) enemies.
