महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-12, verse-9

आत्मनोऽतिक्रमं पश्य पुत्रस्य च दुरात्मनः ।
यदनागसि पाण्डूनां परित्यागः परंतप ॥९॥
9. ātmano'tikramaṁ paśya putrasya ca durātmanaḥ ,
yadanāgasi pāṇḍūnāṁ parityāgaḥ paraṁtapa.

yat anāgasi pāṇḍūnām parityāgaḥ paraṃtapa
9. परंतप आत्मनः च दुरात्मनः पुत्रस्य अतिक्रमम् पश्य,

9. Observe your own transgression and that of your wicked son, O tormentor of foes (paraṃtapa), for it was the abandonment of the innocent Pāṇḍavas.
