महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-12, verse-14

हतेषु पार्थिवेन्द्रेषु पुत्रेषु निहतेषु च ।
पाण्डुपुत्रेषु मे शर्म प्रीतिश्चाप्यवतिष्ठते ॥१४॥
14. hateṣu pārthivendreṣu putreṣu nihateṣu ca ,
pāṇḍuputreṣu me śarma prītiścāpyavatiṣṭhate.

pāṇḍuputreṣu me śarma prītiḥ ca api avatiṣṭhate
14. me putreṣu pārthivendreṣu hateṣu ca nihateṣu ca api,

14. Even though my own sons, the chief among kings, have been killed and slain, still, happiness and affection (prīti) for me remain with the sons of Pāṇḍu.
