महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-12, verse-11

एवमेतन्महाबाहो यथा वदसि माधव ।
पुत्रस्नेहस्तु धर्मात्मन्धैर्यान्मां समचालयत् ॥११॥
11. evametanmahābāho yathā vadasi mādhava ,
putrasnehastu dharmātmandhairyānmāṁ samacālayat.

putrasnehaḥ tu dharmātman dhairyāt mām samacālayat

11. O mighty-armed Mādhava, what you say is indeed true. But, O virtuous one whose intrinsic nature (dharma) is righteousness, my affection for my sons caused me to deviate from my firmness.
