महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-20, verse-13

दिवाकरः परिकुपितो यथा दहेत्प्रजास्तथा दहसि हुताशनप्रभ ।
भयंकरः प्रलय इवाग्निरुत्थितो विनाशयन्युगपरिवर्तनान्तकृत् ॥१३॥
13. divākaraḥ parikupito yathā dahe;tprajāstathā dahasi hutāśanaprabha ,
bhayaṁkaraḥ pralaya ivāgnirutthito; vināśayanyugaparivartanāntakṛt.

prajāḥ tathā dahasi hutāśana-prabha
bhayaṁkaraḥ pralayaḥ iva agniḥ utthitaḥ
vināśayan yuga-parivartana-anta-kṛt
13. O Lord, whose splendor is like that of fire! Just as the extremely enraged sun would burn all creatures, so too do You incinerate them. Terrifying, like the fire that rises at the time of cosmic dissolution, You destroy everything, bringing an end to the cycles of ages.
