महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-186, verse-4

श्रुत्वा तु वाक्यानि पुरोहितस्य यान्युक्तवान्भारत धर्मराजः ।
जिज्ञासयैवाथ कुरूत्तमानां द्रव्याण्यनेकान्युपसंजहार ॥४॥
4. śrutvā tu vākyāni purohitasya; yānyuktavānbhārata dharmarājaḥ ,
jijñāsayaivātha kurūttamānāṁ; dravyāṇyanekānyupasaṁjahāra.
4. śrutvā tu vākyāni purohitasya
yāni uktavān bhārata dharmarājaḥ
jijñāsayā eva atha kurūttamānām
dravyāṇi anekāni upasaṃjahāra
4. O Bhārata, having heard the words of the priest which the righteous king (dharma-rāja) had spoken, he then, out of curiosity, collected many various articles from the foremost of the Kurus.
