महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-182, verse-10

एवंगते यत्करणीयमत्र धर्म्यं यशस्यं कुरु तत्प्रचिन्त्य ।
पाञ्चालराजस्य च यत्प्रियं स्यात्तद्ब्रूहि सर्वे स्म वशे स्थितास्ते ॥१०॥
10. evaṁgate yatkaraṇīyamatra; dharmyaṁ yaśasyaṁ kuru tatpracintya ,
pāñcālarājasya ca yatpriyaṁ syā;ttadbrūhi sarve sma vaśe sthitāste.
10. evaṃgate yat karaṇīyam atra dharmyam
yaśasyam kuru tat pracintya |
pāñcālarājasya ca yat priyam syāt
tat brūhi sarve sma vaśe sthitāḥ te
10. Since things stand this way, please consider what should be done here that is righteous (dharmya) and glorious, and then do it. Also, tell us what would be pleasing to the King of Pañcāla, for all of us are now in your power.
