महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-148, verse-6

वेतनं तस्य विहितं शालिवाहस्य भोजनम् ।
महिषौ पुरुषश्चैको यस्तदादाय गच्छति ॥६॥
6. vetanaṁ tasya vihitaṁ śālivāhasya bhojanam ,
mahiṣau puruṣaścaiko yastadādāya gacchati.

mahiṣau puruṣaḥ ca ekaḥ yaḥ tad ādāya gacchati
6. His prescribed payment, his meal from the rice-cart (śālivāha), consists of two buffaloes and one man, who takes them and goes to him.
