भुशुण्ड उवाच ।
ततस्तस्य मया ब्रह्मंस्तच्छ्रुत्वा पावनं वचः ।
इदमुक्तं यथापृष्टं सुस्पष्टपदया गिरा ॥ १ ॥

bhuśuṇḍa uvāca ,
tatastasya mayā brahmaṃstacchrutvā pāvanaṃ vacaḥ ,
idamuktaṃ yathāpṛṣṭaṃ suspaṣṭapadayā girā 1

Bhushunda said: O Brahman, then, upon hearing his purifying words, I replied to him with this speech, just as he had inquired, using clearly articulated words.
