श्रीराम उवाच ।
अनादिमध्यपर्यन्तं न देवा नर्षयो विदुः ।
यत्पदं तदिदं भाति क्व जगत्क्व च दृश्यता ॥ १ ॥

anādimadhyaparyantaṃ na devā narṣayo viduḥ ,
yatpadaṃ tadidaṃ bhāti kva jagatkva ca dṛśyatā 1

Śrī Rāma said: "Neither gods nor sages know that state (padam) which is without beginning, middle, or end. When this (reality) shines, where then is the world (jagat), and where is its visibility?"
