योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-122, verse-4

विपश्चितस्ते दिशि दिश्यनल्पैर्भृत्यैः समुद्रं प्रविशद्भिरेव ।
भृत्यैश्च कैश्चित्त्वनुगम्यमाना ययुर्यथा वारिणि पद्भिरेव ॥ ४ ॥

bhṛtyaiśca kaiścittvanugamyamānā yayuryathā vāriṇi padbhireva 4
4. vipaścitaḥ te diśi diśi analpaiḥ
bhṛtyaiḥ samudram praviśadbhiḥ eva
bhṛtyaiḥ ca kaiścit tu anugamyamānāḥ
yayuḥ yathā vāriṇi padbhiḥ eva
4. te vipaścitaḥ diśi diśi analpaiḥ
samudram praviśadbhiḥ eva bhṛtyaiḥ
ca kaiścit bhṛtyaiḥ tu anugamyamānāḥ
yathā vāriṇi padbhiḥ eva yayuḥ
4. And those wise ones (vipascitaḥ), followed by numerous servants who were themselves entering the ocean in every direction, and also by some other servants, proceeded as if walking on water (vāri) by foot.
