दिगन्तमालोक्य समुद्रपारे क्षणात्समायाम इति ब्रुवन्तः ।
स्वमन्त्रशक्त्योत्तमतां गतैस्तैरब्धिः पदैरेव तदा प्रविष्टः ॥ ३ ॥

Having looked towards the horizon beyond the ocean and proclaiming, "We will arrive there in an instant!", they, who had attained excellence through the power of their own counsel (mantra-śakti), then entered the ocean simply by their feet.
