पूज्यपूजाद्यवच्छिन्नो देवो नित्यामलात्मनः ।

10. A deity delimited by the worshipped, worship, and so forth, is not deserving of the state of Lordship (Īśvara), which belongs to the ever-pure Self (ātman), the all-powerful, and the infinite.
