योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-9, verse-3

मनस्तु चञ्चलाभोगं तासु तासु दशासु च ।
बभ्रामातिविचित्रासु वनराजिष्विवैणकः ॥ ३ ॥
manastu cañcalābhogaṃ tāsu tāsu daśāsu ca ,
babhrāmātivicitrāsu vanarājiṣvivaiṇakaḥ 3

3. But his mind, with its restless pursuit of experiences, wandered through all those exceedingly varied states, much like a deer roaming through diverse forest thickets.
