At the dawn of creation (sargādau), the first-born (ādija) physical form (deha), the cosmic living being (jīva), arises from intention (saṅkalpa). Gradually, having attained its destined position (padam), it then creates the world (jagat) associated with Brahmā (vairiñcam).
