Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: This (Reality), which is all-pervading and divine, is the Supreme Self (paramātman), the Great Lord (maheśvara). It is pure, its intrinsic nature (svarūpa) is the bliss of self-experience, and it is devoid of beginning and end.
