वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-68, verse-8

अथापश्यं शवं तत्र सुपुष्टमजरं क्व चित् ।
तिष्ठन्तं परया लक्ष्म्या तस्मिंस्तोयाशये नृप ॥८॥
8. athāpaśyaṃ śavaṃ tatra supuṣṭamajaraṃ kva cit ,
tiṣṭhantaṃ parayā lakṣmyā tasmiṃstoyāśaye nṛpa.
8. atha apaśyam śavam tatra supuṣṭam ajaram kva cit
tiṣṭhantam parayā lakṣmyā tasmin toyāśaye nṛpa
8. atha nṛpa tatra tasmin toyāśaye kva cit parayā
lakṣmyā tiṣṭhantam supuṣṭam ajaram śavam apaśyam
8. Then, O king, in that body of water, I saw a very stout, undecaying corpse, remaining there somewhere with supreme splendor (lakṣmī).
