वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-68, verse-12

पश्यतो मे तदा राम विमानादवरुह्य च ।
तं शवं भक्षयामास स स्वर्गी रघुनन्दन ॥१२॥
12. paśyato me tadā rāma vimānādavaruhya ca ,
taṃ śavaṃ bhakṣayāmāsa sa svargī raghunandana.
12. paśyataḥ me tadā rāma vimānāt ava ruhya ca
tam śavam bhakṣayāmāsa saḥ svargī raghunandana
12. rāma raghunandana tadā me paśyataḥ svargī
vimānāt ava ruhya ca tam śavam bhakṣayāmāsa
12. O Rama, O delight of the Raghus, then, while I was watching, having descended from the celestial chariot, that celestial being devoured that corpse.
