वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-67, verse-10

सुरा हि कथयन्ति त्वामागतं शूद्रघातिनम् ।
ब्राह्मणस्य तु धर्मेण त्वया जीवापितः सुतः ॥१०॥
10. surā hi kathayanti tvāmāgataṃ śūdraghātinam ,
brāhmaṇasya tu dharmeṇa tvayā jīvāpitaḥ sutaḥ.

| brāhmaṇasya tu dharmeṇa tvayā jīvāpitaḥ sutaḥ
10. hi surāḥ kathayanti tvām śūdraghātanam āgatam

10. Indeed, the gods describe you as having come as the slayer of a śūdra. Yet, by the intrinsic nature (dharma) of a brāhmaṇa, a son has been brought back to life by you.
