वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-38, verse-4

भरतेन वयं पश्चात् समानीता निरर्थकम् ।
हता हि राक्षसास्तत्र पार्थिवैः स्युर्न संशयः ॥४॥
4. bharatena vayaṃ paścāt samānītā nirarthakam ,
hatā hi rākṣasāstatra pārthivaiḥ syurna saṃśayaḥ.

hi rākṣasāḥ tatra pārthivaiḥ syuḥ na saṃśayaḥ
4. वयम् पश्चात् भरतेन निरर्थकम् समानीताः हि
राक्षसाः तत्र पार्थिवैः हताः स्युः न संशयः
4. We were uselessly brought here by Bharata afterwards. Indeed, the Rākṣasas would certainly have been killed there by the kings; there is no doubt about it.
