वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-50, verse-15

ये राक्षसा मुख्यतमा हतास्ते वानरैर्युधि ।
वानराणां क्षयं युद्धे न पश्यामि कदा चन ॥१५॥
15. ye rākṣasā mukhyatamā hatāste vānarairyudhi ,
vānarāṇāṃ kṣayaṃ yuddhe na paśyāmi kadā cana.

15. The most prominent rākṣasas (demons) have been slain by the monkeys in battle. I do not foresee the destruction of the monkeys in this war, ever.
