वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-61, verse-9

तदन्नं मैथिली प्राप्य विज्ञायेन्द्रादिदं त्विति ।
अग्रमुद्धृत्य रामाय भूतले निर्वपिष्यति ॥९॥
9. tadannaṃ maithilī prāpya vijñāyendrādidaṃ tviti ,
agramuddhṛtya rāmāya bhūtale nirvapiṣyati.
9. tat annam maithilī prāpya vijñāya indrāt idam tu
iti agram uddhṛtya rāmāya bhūtale nirvapiṣyati
9. maithilī tat annam prāpya,
idam tu indrāt iti vijñāya,

9. Having obtained that food, Maithili (Sita), understanding 'this is indeed from Indra,' will take out the first portion for Rama and scatter it on the ground.
