अथ वा मे भवेच्छक्तिर्योगैर्बुद्धिबलेन वा ।
सकामां न करिष्यामि त्वामहं पुत्रगर्धिनीम् ।
निवर्तयिष्यामि वनाद्भ्रातरं स्वजनप्रियम् ॥१४॥

14. atha vā me bhavecchaktiryogairbuddhibalena vā ,

Or, if I possess the power, whether through spiritual discipline (yoga) or by mental strength, I will not satisfy your desire, you who are greedy for a son. I will bring my brother, who is dear to his people, back from the forest.
