वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-67, verse-10

लुब्धाया विदितो मन्ये न ते ऽहं राघवं प्रति ।
तथा ह्यनर्थो राज्यार्थं त्वया नीतो महानयम् ॥१०॥
10. lubdhāyā vidito manye na te'haṃ rāghavaṃ prati ,
tathā hyanartho rājyārthaṃ tvayā nīto mahānayam.
10. lubdhāyāḥ viditaḥ manye na te aham rāghavam prati
tathā hi anarthaḥ rājyārtham tvayā nītaḥ mahān ayam
10. manye aham te lubdhāyāḥ rāghavam prati na viditaḥ
tathā hi ayam mahān anarthaḥ rājyārtham tvayā nītaḥ
10. I believe I am not truly known to you (Kaikeyī) regarding Rāghava (Rama), considering that such a great calamity has indeed been brought about by you for the sake of the kingdom.
