बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-91, verse-7

रक्ताक्षतं रक्तगन्धं रक्तमाल्याम्बरादिकम् ।
चन्द्रग्रहे प्रदातव्यं चन्द्रप्रीतिकरं च यत् ॥७॥
7. raktākṣataṃ raktagandhaṃ raktamālyāmbarādikam .
candragrahe pradātavyaṃ candraprītikaraṃ ca yat.

7. During a lunar eclipse, one should offer red rice grains, red fragrance, red garlands, garments, and so forth, as well as anything else that is pleasing to the Moon.
