त्यक्त्वा गृहीतपूर्वां तामन्यां प्राप्नोति मानवः ॥१३॥

13. tattadgrahadaśākāle pravrajyāṃ yāti tadbhavām .
tyaktvā gṛhītapūrvāṃ tāmanyāṃ prāpnoti mānavaḥ.

During the operating period (daśā) of each such planet, a person attains the renunciation (pravrajyā) originating from it. Having abandoned the previously adopted renunciation, that human being (mānava) then takes up another.
