मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-93, verse-31

सोमस्य ये रश्मिषु येऽर्कबिम्बे शुक्ले विमाने च सदा वसन्ति ।
तृप्यन्तु तेऽस्मिन्पितरोऽन्नतोयैर्गन्धादिना पुष्टिमितो व्रजन्तु ॥३१॥
31. somasya ye raśmiṣu ye'rkabimbe śukle vimāne ca sadā vasanti .
tṛpyantu te'sminpitaro'nnatoyairgandhādinā puṣṭimito vrajantu.
31. somasya ye raśmiṣu ye arkabimbe
śukle vimāne ca sadā vasanti
tṛpyantu te asmin pitaraḥ annatoyaiḥ
gandhādinā puṣṭim itaḥ vrajantu
31. May those ancestors who constantly reside in the rays of Soma (the moon), in the sun's orb, and in bright celestial vehicles, be satisfied here with food and water. From this (ritual), may they attain nourishment through scents and other offerings.
