मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-93, verse-23

नमस्येऽहं पितॄञ्छ्राद्धैर्ये शूद्रैरपि भक्तितः ।
सन्तर्प्यन्ते जगत्यत्र नाम्ना ख्याताः सुकालिनः ॥२३॥
23. namasye'haṃ pitṝñchrāddhairye śūdrairapi bhaktitaḥ .
santarpyante jagatyatra nāmnā khyātāḥ sukālinaḥ.
23. namasye aham pitṝn śrāddhaiḥ ye śūtraiḥ api bhaktitaḥ
santarpyante jagati atra nāmnā khyātāḥ sukālinaḥ
23. I bow down to the ancestors (pitṛ), especially the renowned Sukālins, who are satisfied in this world (jagat) even by Śūdras through śrāddha offerings performed with devotion (bhakti).
