मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
पितामहस्ततस्तेषां संनिधौ वाक्यमब्रवीत् ।
सर्वैर्देवगणैः सार्धं संभवध्वं महीतले ॥६॥

6. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca ,
pitāmahastatasteṣāṁ saṁnidhau vākyamabravīt ,
sarvairdevagaṇaiḥ sārdhaṁ saṁbhavadhvaṁ mahītale.

Mārkaṇḍeya said: "Then the grandfather (Brahmā) spoke in their presence, saying: 'All of you, together with all the hosts of gods, should take birth on the earth!'"
