शक्रप्रभृतयश्चैव सर्वे ते सुरसत्तमाः ।

11.
And indeed, all those foremost among the gods (deva), led by Indra (śakra), begot sons (ātman) among the excellent wives of the monkeys and bears. All of them then followed their fathers (pitṛ) in fame and strength.
