मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
हन्त ते सर्वमाख्यास्ये प्रश्नमेतं सुदुर्वचम् ।
तत्त्वेन भरतश्रेष्ठ गदतस्तन्निबोध मे ॥१४॥

Mārkaṇḍeya said: "O best among the Bhāratas, indeed, I will explain everything to you concerning this extremely difficult question, in its true nature. Listen to me as I narrate it."
