यथेमे पर्वताः शश्वत्तिष्ठन्ति सुरसत्तमाः ।
अक्षयास्तन्निमित्तं मे सुतस्यायुर्भवेदिति ॥६॥

6. bāladhiruvāca ,
yatheme parvatāḥ śaśvattiṣṭhanti surasattamāḥ ,
akṣayāstannimittaṁ me sutasyāyurbhavediti.

Bāladhi said: 'O best among the gods, just as these mountains stand eternally and are imperishable, so too, based on that (analogy), may my son's lifespan become (imperishable).'
