महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-19, verse-8

एवंप्रायो हि धर्मोऽयं क्षत्रियाणां नराधिप ।
युद्धे क्षत्रियधर्मे च निरतोऽयं वृकोदरः ॥८॥
8. evaṁprāyo hi dharmo'yaṁ kṣatriyāṇāṁ narādhipa ,
yuddhe kṣatriyadharme ca nirato'yaṁ vṛkodaraḥ.
8. evaṃ-prāyaḥ hi dharmaḥ ayam kṣatriyāṇām narādhipa
yuddhe kṣatriya-dharme ca nirataḥ ayam vṛkodaraḥ
8. O king of men, such indeed is this natural law (dharma) for Kshatriyas. And this Vrikodara (Bhīma) is engaged in battle and in the martial code (dharma) of a Kshatriya.
