महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-46, verse-9

स्त्रीप्रत्ययो हि वो धर्मो रतिभोगाश्च केवलाः ।
परिचर्यान्नसंस्कारास्तदायत्ता भवन्तु वः ॥९॥
9. strīpratyayo hi vo dharmo ratibhogāśca kevalāḥ ,
paricaryānnasaṁskārāstadāyattā bhavantu vaḥ.
9. strīpratyayaḥ hi vaḥ dharmaḥ ratibhogāḥ ca kevalāḥ
paricaryānnasaṃskārāḥ tat āyattāḥ bhavantu vaḥ
9. Indeed, your social constitution (dharma) is founded upon women, and they are also the exclusive source of loving enjoyments. Therefore, for you, let the rites of service and food preparation be dependent on them.
