महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-30, verse-5

ब्राह्मणे सर्वभूतानां योगक्षेमः समाहितः ।
ब्राह्मणेभ्योऽनुतृप्यन्ति पितरो देवतास्तथा ॥५॥
5. brāhmaṇe sarvabhūtānāṁ yogakṣemaḥ samāhitaḥ ,
brāhmaṇebhyo'nutṛpyanti pitaro devatāstathā.

5. The welfare (yogakṣema) of all beings is established in the brahmin. The ancestors (pitaraḥ) and the deities alike are satisfied through brahmins.
