महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-29, verse-13

ततश्चतुःशते काले श्रोत्रियो नाम जायते ।
श्रोत्रियत्वे चिरं कालं तत्रैव परिवर्तते ॥१३॥
13. tataścatuḥśate kāle śrotriyo nāma jāyate ,
śrotriyatve ciraṁ kālaṁ tatraiva parivartate.
13. tataḥ ca caturśate kāle śrotriyaḥ nāma jāyate
śrotriyatve ciram kālam tatra eva parivartate
13. tataḥ ca caturśate kāle śrotriyaḥ nāma jāyate
śrotriyatve ciram kālam tatra eva parivartate
13. And then, after four hundred cycles, one becomes known as a śrotriya (Vedic scholar). In that state of being a śrotriya, he continues to exist there for a long time.
