महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-214, verse-16

देवताभिश्च ये सार्धं पितृभिश्चोपभुञ्जते ।
रमन्ते पुत्रपौत्रैश्च तेषां गतिरनुत्तमा ॥१६॥
16. devatābhiśca ye sārdhaṁ pitṛbhiścopabhuñjate ,
ramante putrapautraiśca teṣāṁ gatiranuttamā.

16. Those who partake [of offerings] with the deities and with the ancestors, and who also enjoy themselves with their sons and grandsons—their ultimate destination (gati) is supreme.
