भृगुरुवाच ।
जातकर्मादिभिर्यस्तु संस्कारैः संस्कृतः शुचिः ।

2. Bhṛgu said: "Whoever is pure, purified by the sacred rites (saṃskāra) such as the birth ceremony, accomplished in the study of the Vedas, and established in the six duties (karma)..."
