महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-129, verse-11

अनुरक्तेन पुष्टेन हृष्टेन जगतीपते ।
अल्पेनापि हि सैन्येन महीं जयति पार्थिवः ॥११॥
11. anuraktena puṣṭena hṛṣṭena jagatīpate ,
alpenāpi hi sainyena mahīṁ jayati pārthivaḥ.

alpena api hi sainyena mahīm jayati pārthivaḥ
11. jagatīpate! hi pārthivaḥ anuraktena puṣṭena
hṛṣṭena alpena api sainyena mahīm jayati
11. O Lord of the Earth, a king conquers the land even with a small army, provided it is loyal, well-maintained, and enthusiastic.
